About the Darul Qur’an Department

The Darul Qur’an Department (DQD) stands at the very heart of Darul Hikmah Islamic Centre—a sacred space where hearts reconnect with the Book of Allah ﷻ and lives find direction through divine wisdom.

This department is dedicated to teaching the Qur’an not merely as a text to be memorized, but as a living guide—one that enlightens the heart, refines character, and aligns life with the will of Allah ﷻ. Through structured learning, reflection, and spiritual nurturing, DQD aims to revive love for the Qur’an and deepen connection with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Our focus is to help women and children build a deep, personal relationship with the Qur’an—where every verse speaks to the heart, and every recitation brings one closer to the Creator.

Learn Qur’an with Seerah (LQS)

A Journey Through Revelation and Legacy

Learn Qur’an with Seerah (LQS) is a unique, revelation-based Qur’anic journey designed especially for women and young girls. This one-of-a-kind course allows students to experience the Qur’an as it was revealed—step by step, moment by moment, alongside the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Rather than studying the Qur’an only in Mushaf order, students explore the Qur’an according to the order of revelation (Nuzūl)—beginning with Surah Al-‘Alaq and moving through the stages of Nubuwwah and Hijrah. This approach brings the Qur’an to life as guidance revealed during real events, real struggles, and real moments in history.

When Tafsīr is studied alongside the Seerah, understanding deepens, hearts find peace, and the wisdom of Allah Al-Ḥakīm becomes clear. Students begin to see how every verse carries purpose, and how every word and action of the Prophet ﷺ was perfect wisdom—guiding hearts, correcting intentions, and restoring balance to life.
